Tried to send this yesterday via twitter, but my partner in crime was "tweeking" the settings on the loudtwitter. (everything electronic she touches will turn and fight her... computers think she is Ryu from Street Fighter) Anywho, it didn't seem to transfer so here we go:

After who knows how much time, the old ill-intent site has been put to rest and the new one is up! ..... sorta... mostly..... okay, so I've got a few more pics to add, but it does feel good to have a site again.
Now, I just have to finish moving all of my drawing stuff to my new place and I can get back to drawing comic stuff. ^^ (well, that and wait for my new modem to be shipped to me -_- )

Okay, well, aside from some grand disaster with my bank screwing up the cheque, Akui is now signed and ready to go for the artist alley at this year's Anime North. Though it doesn't sound all impressive, I am still surprised I was able to get in. Spaces here filled up in less than 1 minute after opening (I've tried for concerts with less mobbage than this).
Anywho, if you're going, I hope to see you there.

Yup, that's where I found it. A box of all sorts of random types of paper I stored (oversized or specialty stock for resume or whatever) I found UNDERNEATH stuff I thought I had lost (or at least accidently burned >.>;). Yes, the box was labelled, but only that it contained spare paper.
Now, what was inside that warrants such enthusiasm? Well.........
ALL OF MY NOTES, DESIGN RESOURCES, SCRIPTS AND ROUGHS FOR MY PHANTASY STAR MANGA!!

Yup, FanExpo 07 is over and thanks to all who came out and said hi. Up next is the reconstruction of the ol' website and then on to issue 7 of Lucian.

Okay, it's almost 11 am the morning of the con and I'm acutally organized and ready to go (I must coming down with something....). Rose and I will be there pimping our comic, for those wish to stop by and say hi. We'll be in the small press/artist alley section near that damned Rue Morgue display. (is there ever a year they don't blast feedback into my skull...?)
Anywho, gotta get some food into me and get going. If I see you there, great.

| Results of a cottage weekend get-a-way..... |

Okay, I took a quick break from drawing and work and went up north for a "wee cottage trip". Guests included friends, fruits and my darlin' girl. (yeah, that's right Mike, you ARE the fruit) The list of what I needed to take with me was fairly standard:
- Clothes
- Toiletries
- Snacks
- DVDs (just in case of lousy weather)
- and something else minor I'm forgetting.........
Oh, yeah!
A diamond ring to give over.

Okay, it's the evening after the final day of the AN convention. I'm sleep deprived but it's all good. Thanks to everyone who came out and said hi. (sorry to those for whom I had nothing new) After a day of recovery and catch up sleep (and probably a proper, nutricious meal or two) I'll be back finishing up issue 6 and the long neglected work on my website.
Well, I'd say more, but sleep beckons....thanks, again and I'll see everyone at FanExpo convention in August.

Okay, I know it's been a long time since I've updated either this journal, my website OR done a new issue of Lucian Fallen....but I have a good excuse.
A riddle: What has 6 letters, grows to 2.5 inches wide, delays comic production for several months and rhymes with LANCER? (yep, that's right.)
Sorry for the delay in issue 6. I will have it out as soon as I can. (stupid real life recovery times....)
